I am a self-taught artist living and working in Athenry, Co. Galway, Ireland. My practice is rooted in experimentation and a fascination with the unexpected. I work with a diverse range of materials including acrylics, spray paint, inks, real gold and silver leaf, and the rich textures of bog oak and its sawdust.

These elements allow me to create abstract, contemporary pieces that are both tactile and luminous. The ancient character of bog oak, paired with the shimmer of precious metals and the vibrancy of paint, brings a sense of contrast and depth to every work.

My art is not influenced by other artists; instead, it grows from an intuitive process of discovery. Each piece develops organically, guided by the materials themselves and the emotions they evoke, resulting in work that is modern, unique, and distinctly my own. There are no rules in art - ever.
